In 2014, this article states you must make a real effort to localize your content so that it’s personal and meaningful to each of your customers for brand relationship building. Build location services into your app to cater content and search results to each user’s exact location. This provides practical and useful context. This article states for example, Oakley Smart Glass shows skiers their speed, elevation, where their friends are on the mountain, and other relevant statistics.

Mobile or Bust

We now live in a public, private and private, public reality and the smartphone is the communication device we all use to communicate we each other with about everything in this now connected reality… Now as the article states, more than one billion people own smartphones worldwide and 143 million of them are in the U.S. The relatively low price point for these mini-computers allows marketers to reach large portions of the population that previously did not have everyday Internet access. If you’re not there already, you need to design or adapt your website for an optimized mobile and tablet experience in the coming year. To those who are not aware of this, digital communication convergence is here, and it is here to stay. Adapt and embrace or bust.
