He introduced the marketing concept of Added Value Promotions and Guerilla Marketing to Hansen Natural Corporation. The promotions ranged from on-pack sweepstakes, and instant win games, to added value giveaways with cross-promotional partners across all media.

Under Robert’s direction and management, Hansen’s name presence significantly rose in the market; thus resulting in increased sales and profits. In doing so Robert was credited by the Vice-Chairman Hilton Schlosberg of Hansen Natural Corporation as bringing a “can do” marketing mindset to the marketing team and starting a marketing revolution at Hansen Natural Corporation which resulted in catapulting Hansen’s sales by 14% and increasing annual sales to over $70 million; thus making Hansen’s one of the most preeminent growing small corporations in America.
As a result of Robert Rosario’s influence, innovation, and leadership, lead to the creation of the entire marketing infrastructure of Hansen Natural Corporation which became one of the leading energy drink innovators in America, now known as Monster Beverage Corporation, a multi-billion dollar company.

As a senior management consultant and troubleshooter for Publicis, Robert worked with the General Manager on the Nestle multi-brand account and developed promotional consumer programs, retail and chain-specific promotions, and special event management for the Hispanic market. The main goal was to increase Hispanic market awareness and build Hispanic market share for Nestle multi-brand through programs such as a MUSIC CD COOKBOOK, which he developed and then distributed to 15,000 stores in key markets of high Hispanic density to assist in the sampling and sales of Nestle’s Carnation Evaporated Milk and La Lechera.

Robert was responsible for implementing and managing corporate marketing programs as well as developing local promotions for 140 corporate stores and 70 franchise units in Southern California. He managed and directed all local store marketing activities. Local store marketing activities ranged from strategic planning for new store grand openings, Customer Appreciation Days, turn-around programs for problem stores, group sales programs, and event sponsorships. Other major duties included: the development and supervision of Hispanic Marketing activities; leveraging Little Caesar’s brand name and customer base to high-impact market profile companies for cross-promotional opportunities; direct mail coordination and door hanging coupon programs.
Little Caesar’s Pizza Achievements:
Under Robert’s direction, Little Caesar’s successfully established a foothold in the Hispanic market and increased sales in Southern California by over 20%. As a result of Robert’s actions, he was awarded two national commendations for marketing excellence, the “Visibility Award” for outstanding performance and results in local store marketing and promotions, and the “Sponsorship Award,” for group sales.
